What is Raindrop Technique?

RT is a powerful, non-invasive technique utilizing the antiviral, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory  action of several key essential oils to assist the body in maintaining normal spinal curvature. Since  the formal adoption in 1989 it has helped alleviate or resolve many cases of scoliosis, kyphosis, and  chronic back pain.

RT is one of the safest techniques available for spinal health.  It is also an invaluable tool to promote  healing from within using topically applied essential oils.  RT has received enormous amount of  praise from all over the world for its help with relaxation, emotional release, tissue cleansing and  help with spinal misalignments.

The Essential Oils used in RT.

RT uses nine of the most potent Young Living therapeutic-grade essential oils.  All of the oils have  been heavily researched.  They were selected to synergistically combine to simultaneously kill viral  and bacterial pathogens, reduce inflammation, support the immune system, ease respiratory  discomfort, relax stressed muscles, curb digestive upset and relieve body and joint discomfort, as  well as balance energy, lift the spirit, restore calm and increase the ability to concentrate.

The seven single essential oils used include:

  • Oregano

  • Thyme

  • Basil

  • Cypress

  • Wintergreen

  • Marjoram

  • Peppermint

In addition, two essential oil blends, Valor and Aroma Seiz are incorporated into RT to further  facilitate energy balancing (Valor) and muscle relaxation (Aroma Seiz).

The oils are first applied to the feet using the Vita Flex method and then dispensed like drops of rain  from a height of about 6 inches above the back and feathered and massaged along the vertebrae and  back muscles.  Although the entire technique takes about 60 minutes to complete, the oils continue  to  work in the body for up to one week, often with continued re-alignment taking place during this  time.

RT is not a cure- all or magic bullet. RT is only is one tool to help restore balance in the  body.  Healthy eating habits and a positive, open mind will also help prepare the body and skin to  accept the oils better and more rapidly.

What is Reflexology?

Reflexology is a unique method of using the thumb and fingers to stimulate more that 7,200 nerve endings in each foot.  These nerve endings correspond to all parts of the body, including organs and glands. In some sessions the hands and ears are also worked on.

Stimulating the appropriate region is intended to eliminate energy blockages thought to produce pain or disease in the related areas.

What Does Reflexology Do?

Reflexology can relieve stress and tension within the body.  It improves circulation and lymphatic flow and works to unlock nerve impulse pathways.  The benefits all work toward helping the body to heal itself by restoring balance to the vital energies.
