Have you ever experienced a pulled muscle after a track event in school? Remember how you regretted not listening to the coach about warming up. The main focus of any warm up has always been to prepare you physically and mentally for the challenge ahead and that's what the Bodnar Chiropractic Center in Alexandria promotes and teaches.
Although our aches and pains are usually treated as they arise, we believe that the preventative procedures we use can take you to new levels of health and wellness never before achieved. We strive to provide a holistic approach to health and wellness in a friendly and professional atmosphere while using the most up to date and effective methods in the chiropractic profession.
Holistic healing addresses all parts of the individual, not just the physical aspect of a person where manifested illnesses are most apparent. Holistic healing is not intended to serve as a onetime fix. It is an ongoing journey of discovery in search of more answers and ultimately the perfect balance of mind, body and spirit.
We look for the cause of a symptom, not the effect, so we can remove interference and let the body function as it was designed. We accomplish this by not covering up effects (pain) with drugs or surgery, as much of modern medicine does. Instead, we strive to provide the holistic approach to health and wellness in a friendly and professional atmosphere while using the most up to date and effective methods in the chiropractic profession.
So listen to your coach when he says "warm up!". It not only prepares your body but your mind and can lift your spirit when you cross that finish line.
