I discovered Chinese and Holistic Medicine through my own need for it and was amazed by the results. Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine is a complete and effective medical system that was developed over 3,000 years ago and still maintains it’s relevance in this modern world. The focus of holistic medicine and Acupuncture is to bring an unharmonious mind body and spirit back into balance and health. It is based on the theory of Qi which is the universal life force or vital energy. This energy travels along the meridians and channels and to all of the organs of the body which enables them to function. If the flow of energy is blocked, deficient or in excess then physical pain, emotional pain and illness can occur. Placing acupuncture needles in specific points on specific channels works to unblock and fix this imbalance. There are over 400 points on the body, including in the ear which when stimulated enable the body to begin to heal itself.
